The Journeys Convention is a unique and vibrant gathering born from a vision of connection, recovery, and community. What began as a small Labor Day weekend event in the mid-1990s, known as “Campvention,” has grown into an annual tradition celebrated by the Woods & Waters Area of Narcotics Anonymous.
Set amidst the breathtaking beauty of Wisconsin’s Northwoods, the convention offers more than just workshops and meetings. It’s an immersive experience that combines fellowship, reflection, and the serenity of nature. Since its inception in 2001, the convention has embraced the spirit of unity and diversity, drawing attendees from near and far to share in recovery and rejuvenation.
Our chosen venue, The Pointe Resort and Hotel, provides a welcoming and picturesque setting on the shores of Lake Minocqua. From serene on-water workshops to inspiring speaker meetings, the convention captures the essence of the Northwoods experience, offering a tranquil yet enriching environment for all who attend.
